Meet the Team

David Bartz

I began my career as a pilot with Continental Airlines, fulfilling a childhood dream. However, the tragic events of 9/11 prompted a career change.

Transitioning to real estate, I wanted to offer a unique approach, focusing solely on Society Hill and Port Liberte, two private gated communities.

My guiding principle has always been client satisfaction over profits. This philosophy not only shaped my 25-year real estate journey but also guides the team today. I have the privilege of working with each of them by applying our core basic business fundamentals: being devoted to our profession and our clients.

Allow me to introduce the team

Federica

Federica is my amazing wife. She’s an Italian fashion designer by trade. We met in 1999 on an airplane traveling from Italy to New York. I knew the minute I saw her that she would be my wife... No kidding. She is the single most important part of my life, and there is no major decision in this company that she is not a part of. Without her, none of this would ever exist

Kathy (Retired)

Kathy joined our team in 2010 as a personal assistant, later transitioning to office manager. She is married to the community mailman, Mike. Barbara, our agent, recommended her for the job, and we instantly built a bond. Everybody loved Kathy; she was the life of the party. Clients called me just to say how lucky I was to have her. She was like a mom to everyone. Unfortunately, Mike and Kathy decided to retire to South Carolina. While we understand it's best for them, we deeply miss her.

Vanesa

Vanesa is our new Kathy... Sort of. Vanesa joined the team in late 2023. We posted a Facebook ad with little expectation and received a call from her about the job. It just so happens that she also worked for one of our clients, so we were able to get great references about her. Vanesa is a Bayonne native who never imagined she would be in real estate. Her friend found our posting and convinced her to interview. Vanesa now runs our office. She is responsible for property management, loan revenue accounting, showing properties, and managing day-to-day operations. We are super excited for her bright future.

Barbara

Barbara is my first agent. She made the decision to leave Weichert Realtors and join our brokerage in 2005. Barbara is the epitome of persistence and dedication, qualities that define her as a real estate agent. A former clothing executive, she seamlessly transitioned careers and quickly rose to become a top real estate agent.
Barbara's focus is on Port Liberte, and her success in this area has been nothing short of remarkable. She has the most loyal client following I have ever seen.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth joined our office in 2020. She is a NYU graduate with a specialty in education. She initially joined us as a part-time agent but has flourished into full-time. Elizabeth now leads our New Construction Division, where she has set records for the highest price sold on each of her last three new construction projects. She possesses an incredible work ethic and is never afraid of an 80-hour workweek; in fact, that may be her norm. Elizabeth is responsible for all buyers and sellers outside of the metro area, as well as the design of all New Jersey new construction.

Keith

Keith is a software designer by trade. His father was a building official, and Keith became interested in building homes. He now runs our New Jersey Construction development operation as a partner and our general contractor. He’s extremely hands-on and focused. Keith probably won’t have much of a conversation with you until he gets to know you, but nobody that I know knows the building code better than Keith.

Nick

Nick is our corporate counsel and the owner of a prominent law firm in Jersey City, Corrado and Martella. I met Nick in 2003 when his real estate agent instructed him to come to me to find a home in Society Hill. She felt he had a better chance going directly to me to secure a property before it hit the market. Sure enough, it worked. We had a deal fall apart due to financing, and I called Nick. The rest is history. We were also able to find Nick a short sale at the right time in Port Liberte. We handled the entire renovation process, even picking out the colors. Nick has been our protector, a big brother figure. We talk almost every day, and he ensures that everyone is following the rules and staying out of trouble. Everyone needs a Nick!

Anthony

Anthony is my partner in our private lending division, offering direct bridge financing utilizing our discretionary capital, making us a true balance sheet lender. Anthony has an incredible background, most recently as Executive Managing Director of Verus Commercial Real Estate Finance. Prior to that, he led many commercial lending firms. But most interestingly, he was once the owner of 50 ice cream trucks. Anthony brings amazing focus and dedication. He wakes up at 4 am on a Sunday, even earlier the rest of the week. He truly loves what he does, providing quick financing to unique situations without the red tape. If you need any asset-based bridge lending, we can help!

Dovi

Dovi is a partner and manages our New York assets. We met Dovi in 2020 through a mutual friend. He persuaded us to pursue a deal that four other partners had rejected—a property located in New York, owned by a corporation in New York, which in turn was owned by another corporation in Luxembourg, with the funds ultimately going to someone in Italy. Sounds complex, but we believed in him, and somehow it all worked out. Dovi is obviously charming, but most importantly, hardworking, honest, and very loyal. His firm owns and operates over 2000 properties in New York, and he calls that just the beginning. So if you're looking to sell your building in New York, call us—Dovi and I probably want it.

Arthur

Arthur was our first employee. We met Arthur in 1999 as a flooring contractor while he was working on a project for our first home. He proved to be incredibly honest and caring, so we continued working with him on various projects until we eventually hired him full-time as our foreman. Not only does he possess the ability to fix just about anything, but he's also an excellent teacher. Arthur is solely responsible for my construction skills and knowledge, having involved me in every project, whether I liked it or not!

Anthoniel is our staff HVAC technician and also responsible for water heater repair and replacement

Bastian is our staff plumber

Mark is our staff electrician

Jose is our staff painter and responsible for all things caulking

Aldo is responsible for wood floor installation, sanding, refinishing as well as click floor installation, he is one of the few installers which fully understands how to properly cover the staircases with wood flooring in Society hill and Droyers point.

Spencer is our cat, actually he’s my wife’s cat. We rescued him in 2012 from the bottom of a storm drain in Society Hill when he was just 2 weeks old.. Now, he's the king of the house and allows me to live in his home.
